Adrenal

The adrenal gland sits atop the kidney and secretes 4 hormones -- 2 from the medulla and 2 from its cortex. The medulla produces epinephrine and norepinephrine (a stimulant and a relaxer). The CORTex makes CORTisol and aldosterone.
Interestingly, the adrenal cortex also produces a small amount of androgen which has an insignificant affect on males, but can cause increased sex drive and libido in women.
Layers of the adrenal spell GFR -- Glomerular, Fascicular, Reticular
